Hi, i have searched my Goddens with no joy can anyone help

I love the plates even if they are weird, the insciption reads art et elaboration, so really would like to know more before I relist them of keep them

You've got me scratching my head too. I don't recognise the backstamp and can't find any reference to anything like it. Maybe continental hence not in the bible that is Godden's . Happy hunting and have a great Christmas
