Hi, This has been in the family for a long time, but i don't know anything about it, apart from the fact it's very heavy. Could anyone tell me what it's made of.  i'm guessing it's Victorian, Anyone?

Yes, it looks like Victorian Art pottery. You really need to show the base. I'm assuming it's an umbrella/stick stand?

Hi, There is nothing on the base to indicate anything, at one point i drilled some holes and put it in the garden with some plants in , then rescued it and put wlking sticks and umbrellas in, which i think was the original use. if i was to sell it any idea of a starting price?. Thanks for replying.
