switching to Custom Postage

PSA I found a glitch switching Large Letter £20 items from Simple Delivery to Custom Postage. They have to be selected for SD Large Letter before the Custom Postage option will appear. BTW these item no longer have a 100g weight limit (any LL item is eligible).

When I tested it I found the appearance of Custom Postage was triggered on entering a price of less than £20.  I could also select services other than Large Letters.

My understanding of it (which could be wrong) is that for items under £20 in certain categories I can act as though Simple Delivery had never been implemented.

You're right about custom small parcels also being available!

So to recap under £20 items are available for Custom Postage they can be

over 100g

over Large Letter size

But the Public Service Announcement about the glitch still stands, if you are having difficulty getting Custom Postage option to appear, then make sure Simple Delivery is selected for Large Letter size. Once you have the CS option open then you can change weight/size within it.
