I sold an item after it had been automatically re-listed, bought my own postage label from Evri and posted it, then discovered that in auto-re-listing it eBay had switched it to its Simple Delivery system from the DIY Evri postage which I had originally set it up as, and was instructing me to buy a label from them, which of course I was not willing to do having already bought one, and was not offering me any way of avoiding that or of marking my item as despatched. I messaged the buyer explaining what had happened and giving him the Evri tracking code. He immediately responded saying no problem and has since confirmed receipt and given me very positive feedback. My problem now is that eBay is flagging the item as overdue for delivery, when in fact it was despatched instantaneously on the day payment was received, and is giving me no means of contacting them to get that corrected, which is going to look like a blot on my hitherto 100% positive record. How do I fix this?

See if you can add the new tracking number via the dropdown menu arrow for the item (needs to be on a desktop browser). If not the payment will be released anyway in 14 days.

If you manage to change the tracking the dispatch time will update.

You should be able to update the tracking. Try the following steps:
As your buyer paid for the unused Simple Delivery label they will be automatically refunded for that within 30 days.

If it was Seller Pays Postage Simple Delivery, my understanding is you will have been charged for the SD label anyway - but you can claim it back.
