I want to send an item. When I listed the item ebay suggested a price. I am now trying to buy postage online on ebay but the suggested postage for the item's size and weight is different to that in my listing.
So which postage should I buy?
I have weighed the item and it is under 2kg but my scales may not be accurate. I plan to buy the postage for a small parcel under 2kg and take it to the Post Office. If the staff weigh the parcel and it is over 2kgs I assume I will have to pay the excess. Is that correct?

If you are using labels - you cannot make any additional payment to " top up" at the post office, you would require the correct label.
Edit to add @littleweed50 - you can also research other threads on here under postage labels to find further information which may help you.
