Not sure if to put this under postage or buying!
I collect paper/card advent calendars. I bought a couple of lovely ones recently and knew the postage was high, medium parcel 10kg £6.65. Sometimes the calendars, because of size, are medium parcel but only up to 1kg. I checked on my own listings and yes for one the recommended postage is medium parcel 10kg at £6.65. It's large letter size. The other one I have listed is recommended medium parcel 2kg, they are approximately the same size, (tho this one is fractionally bigger) yet different postage recommendations.
I don't blame a seller for using the recommended postage, although: "When you're creating your listing, we'll recommend the weight and dimensions of your parcel, as well as the delivery service. If you think our recommended parcel size is incorrect, you can select a different size from the available pre-set options."
And since when can you get a sweater into a large letter? Some shirts and blouses would be ok, if careful but a sweater?! When you list a sweater the recommended is small parcel.
