If you ordered from a business seller, they do not use Simple Delivery, it's only for private sellers

I don't believe Yodel is yet to be a courier option under Simple Delivery.
This seller may still be one of the lucky ones, and have the option not to use SD , but Custom Postage which allows them to select the courier of their choice, and to send tracked or untracked.
Just keep an eye on your item's last estimated date for delivery it is only eBay's estimates, but if a reasonable time passes with no item, open that case for item not received for a full refund under eBay's 30 day MBG, this policy is written on the right hand side of every listing.

I bought the item from a private seller

Thanks, but I wasn't aware it was an option for private sellers. I am one myself and I was sent an email to the effect that simple delivery was now compulsory.

It's being rolled out ... slowly. I'm a private seller and I haven't been enrolled yet.

It is not an option, and to be compulsory for all Private sellers....... eventually! It seems to be rolling out very slowly.
Some are under this already, some lucky few can still select Custom Postage and therefore their chosen postal services. Yodel shows this seller was not under simple delivery rules yet, as the choices there, currently, are Evri or Royal Mail only.
