Yodel driver has refused to take my Yodel Store to Door parcel - says too large

Hi - I paid for Yodel store-to-door postage and stated that it was a large parcel with the correct dimensions/weight.

I dropped the parcel off however have been told by the store that the Yodel delivery driver refused to take it as they said it was "too big".

I now have no idea how to get this sent - the tracking info still states it is at the store but i now have it back in my possession - please help as I do not want to have to pay again for another provider to post this for me.

Why are Yodel refusing it and how can I make them take it?

To add insult to injury - i now cannot cancel the label as it says "it has already been used".

Contact Yodel Customer Services to see what they advise, & get a Courier Label refund if they are unable to carry out the delivery.

"What else do I need to know? We accept parcels measuring up to 120x50x50cm, and our maximum allowed parcel weight is 15 kg."

if your parcel is larger than 120x50x50 it cannot be sent by this service

The Courier has told you they cannot handle the delivery.

Take a scan of the Courier's details showing that it never left the Drop Off Store as Proof so you can get a refund.

I liked Yodel at first but have now switched back to Royal Mail home pick-up & they bring the label.

The latest problem is they apparently can't do store to door, only store to store - contacted them & they couldn't tell me why this is the case or any indication how long before it would be available again.

Poor customer service as site doesn't even say it's not available, just loops you around to store to store.

Maybe yours & mine experience is just showing they've grown too quickly & can't cope with the volumes. Whatever the reason, I'm sticking with Royal Mail.

You can buy a label through eBay for a suitcase sized item and it says it's for Yodel Store. Then the Yodel Store will refuse to take it. The Yodel Store website says they don't take this size but that information is not given either by eBay or when you check your local Yodel Store on the lookup.

eBay are mis-selling the labels as they *cannot* be used.
