Hi,
I generated an eBay label (Simple Delivery) to access the buyer’s address, but I didn’t actually use that label. Instead, I sent the parcel directly with Evri using a different tracking number.
eBay automatically assigned the original label tracking, which now shows “we’re expecting it”, and I can’t edit or replace it.
Would cancelling the label and adding the correct tracking be the best approach in this situation?

its no longer possible to add your own tracking to the order.
You can provide the new tracking number to the customer in a message - and in the event of the customer opening a none delivery case - you can provide ebay the new tracking code in that case.
Note as you didn't use the simple delivery label - your payment for the order might be held for 14 days.

Thanks for your help, really appreciate it.
I don’t sell very often - about a year ago I could still send parcels myself and just add the tracking number manually.
Seems things have changed a bit now.

personally - especially with the items you are currently selling - i'd just have postage separate and use the simple delivery label.
