Unable to void simple postage label

This is madness.. I need to void a postage label as my post office has closed (permanently) and the next PO is 12 miles away and I need to change to another courier.

There is an option to cancel postage label but press it and it tells me I cannot cancel a simple postage label.

Going round in circles.

You can't cancel the label as such unless you're willing to pay for the new postage yourself.   You'd need to cancel the whole transaction with buyer's agreement (via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your orders list) and relist for the buyer to buy and pay again.

That is a pain but my time and seller reputation is worth more than going through all that.. just have to take the loss.

Is there a library or somewhere closer where you could print the label?

Otherwise, if you arrange a different courier and if you paid for the Simple Delivery label, you could try getting a refund for SimDel label. There are t&cs etc.

You could get Royal Mail to collect it if you don't have a drop off point nearby.  They can also bring the label with them if necessary.

I've been doing this and it's worked out ok for me.

But it does cost 30p per item.

There is a link for RM collection on the eBay page where you download the label, but it didn't work properly when I tried it, so I go direcly onto the RM website to book.

No problem with my printer.. the problem is that I have no use for a RM label!

Possibility but that means I have to stay at home all day.. there is a parcel drop off point for Yodel and others in the town which makes life easy.

Sorted it. They needed to go so went onto Parcel2Go and bought a new delivery package. Will try to get my money back.. otherwise I will take the loss.

Think I might stop using eBay for postage and just use Parcel2Go.. slightly cheaper for the same service.
