Ebay simple delivery want to charge me over three times the cost for a second class letter label......So Ebay pockets the difference

If you list under collectibles , photographic images you should get custom postage so you set the price and method of delivery. This is one of the categories ebay seem to leave sellers to do their own thing 

The easiest way to do it is list from scratch , type in photograph as the title, click “continue without match “ when it brings up all the items on eBay 

It will default to custom postage 

you can then change the title 

I say this because some people can’t switch from simple delivery to custom postage when listing anything. 

the item needs to be under £10 in price and package to weigh less than 100g and be letter sized

I think that private sellers still need to know whether the postage for an item weighing less than 100 gm will change to Simple Delivery if the sold price exceeds £10.
