Simple delivery is simply a rip-off for the customer. I sell small low cost items and the postage is now £2.72 instead of the previous £1.55, plus they now have to pay 72p 'buyer protection' which neither of us need or want. As a result the customer is now expected to pay £4.44 for something worth £1. Needless to say they are not selling so there is little point in listing them,

I queried the lack of a Custom Postage option for Large Letter under 100g under £10 items, and was told it was a technical glitch and that eBay are working to fix it. Like you say, £1.55 postage is essential for some items.
