Simple delivery for high valued item

Hi I’ve just sold a high value item (£600) 

I chose to pay for delivery so that I could opt for tracked special delivery like I have done in the past, however it’s not an option and only giving me standard delivery. 
does anyone know if this amount will be covered  or how I send special delivery? I’m  very dubious about sending it just standard delivery under Royal Mail

Simple Delivery covers items up to £750.

Ebay provides £750 cover for Simple Delivery items.

As other replies and I don’t think mobile phones are on either evris RMs or ebays excluded from compensation list

If you’re worried 
you could get the label and then request a refund with 14 days 

then carry on and send your own way and add the actual tracking number
