Simple Delivery undercharging my postage

I have a listing which is roughly 7kg in weight of some magazines. I want to offer Royal Mail Tracked 48 with signature. I select £8 as the postage cost for my item. (Royal Mail site actually quotes £8.30) Make the sale live and the listing has £2.72 for postage (it was less but I disabled evri. eff that, I want the thing to actually arrive).

Well cheers ebay for doing me out of a fiver. Is there a workaround for this?

I should add that I havent ebayed in a couple of years so this Simple Delivery thing is new to me.

Ok so I hadnt slected medium parcel up to 10kg. Its now £6.65. Which is still less than what it will cost me to send but I'm only down a couple of quid now

With Simple Delivery eBay are supplying you with the label so you don't need to actually purchase the label yourself.  Essentially, eBay are purchasing the label rather than you having to do so.  It will not, therefore, be costing you anything and you won't be out of pocket.
