Simple Delivery free express delivery

Why is there no option for seller to offer free express delivery?

I always used to offer free Royal Mail tracked 24 but only free option available now is RM tracked 48 which is a sort of "get there hopefully in 3 days"- with useless tracking which I don't like.

When prepare a listing I think should have the option to offer free either standard RM tracked 48 or express RM tracked 24.

Appears if I wanted to post to buyer for free using RM tracked 24 buyer would have to pay for express label and then I refund  the cost.

Simple delivery very frustrating.

When buying, I am offered express delivery during Checkout (e.g. upgrading to T24 instead of regular T48). You don't have to do anything to make this happen. With Simple Delivery, eBay offer it automatically.

when it is buyer pays postage there is definitely 24 and 48 tracked.

When the postage is marked as free (which of course it never is) there is a charge for express.

If offering free postage the buyer is paying a tiny bit more on the buyer protection fee.
