In my humble opinion e bay have pushed it too far this time by forcing simple delivery on us all removing previously available postage options & increasing postage costs sellers are even losing money on postal deals offered I shall no longer list any items under 15 as it is not worthwhile better options available elsewhere this means listing about 15-20 % of what I used to I never found another company so intent on destroying what was once a great site alas its a very pale shadow today & can surely only sink further

Do you know you can use Custom Postage for most items under £20? Other Sellers have reported this is glitchy today. Here's how to do it when the site is working normally:

Within your listing - when Simple Delivery is auto selected - choose 'Large Letter'. This should activate the CP tile. Click this, now you can enter any courier/size/weight you like. (It doesn't even have to be Large Letter under 100g anymore.) Good luck wherever you decide to sell your CDs.

Hi yes I’ve been through those options several times, a short while ago I was charging buyers. £1.80 for cd postage (large letter post office up to 750g) That option is now £2.72. A case in fact, I list a cd for £4.99 postage is now £2.72 + packing envelope & extra bubble wrap 20p, I recieved £2.08. Many thanks though

Many things are changing, seems to be clutchig at straws more and more, trying to look like hammerzone, ill chosen shipping partners, investing in marketing car parts for cars that can be dit fixed less and less, I cant see a direction of travel in the long term planning.

You're comparing apples and oranges! Tracked 48 with £750 insurance and 2nd Class LL untracked with £20 insurance are very different. For example these Boards are littered with Business Sellers and Private Sellers complaining that their accounts are Below Standard now that 2nd Class is delivered 1/3 less days than before. Sometimes the extra 82p is worth it in the long run!
