Simple Delivery and 48 tracked - combined in one parcel?

URGENT PLEASE  Ebay changed all my listings to Simple Delivery but one was not changed.  Buyer has bought & paid for one SD item and one 48 tracked item, which I want to combine in one parcel.  Size & weight are OK for them to be sent in the SD parcel.  Can I send them both in that SD parcel and then note the other item with that tracking number?  Will they then both register as 'received' on the system?  Is it safer to send them separately?  Many thanks

Definitely safer to send them separately so you receive 2 separate tracking numbers,  covering yourself for any possible item not received cases,  and also allows payouts to be released sooner.

Combining postage is still an issue with Simple Delivery,  still not possible.

Some sellers are leaving a message on their listing,  for example.....   ' If you wish to buy multiple items,  please let me know before buying,  I will relist them as one listing so only one postage cost is charged, combining postage is not currently possible. '

Hi - thank you Tressygirl, for the info.  Ebay are combining when they are both SD (most of the time, not all of the time!) but I had not had this one before, so thanks for that.
