Simple Delivery Increaes from 1 September

I am a long standing eBay seller dealing mainly in low value items. The changes in Simple Delivery charges from I September will, I fear, knock my activities for six as it will result in a lot of my items being more expensive than my buyers are prepared to pay. I'm afraid I can't see an answer to it

All that's changing is that if you only use Royal Mail you'll pay the same to send a 0-2kg Medium Parcel as you would if you dealt with Royal Mail direct.  It was always a bit of an oddity as Royal Mail don't have a 0-1kg price band.  Without Simple Delivery you could only save 20p by sending the same thing normal untracked Second Class.

Of course you are correct that it'll make some things unsellable (though I doubt there are many things which when packed are Medium Parcel size but less than 1kg in weight) but that's often the case; somebody may be happy to pay the item price but not that plus whatever the postage is.

You could risk Evri as e-Bay covers parcels against loss or damage but that depends on if you have a convenient place to drop them off.

Thank you. I've maybe knee-jerked a little bit as my parcels are generally 'small' not 'medium' so I probably won't actually be affected an awful lot.
