SIMPLE DELIVERY - THE END OF LOYAL, "GREY POUND" SELLERS ON EBAY?

Just having to cancel 3 items sold because of eBay choosing Evri. I have been a seller and buyer for over 25 years on the site. I do not have a smart phone or printer so cannot use Evri and eBay is, therefore, going to effectively exclude this "Luddite" from selling on the site. Just about to let 3 buyers know that I will have to cancel their orders. Where is the marketing "WIN WIN?" Sad times.

SIMPLE DELIVERY - THE END OF LOYAL, "GREY POUND" SELLERS ON EBAY?

Hi film_8314, thanks for your post.

I understand this is something you're probably not happy with. However, you can either opt out of Simple Delivery and use the courier and service of your preference. Or if you wish to continue using Simple Delivery, you can disabled/uncheck the Evri option, so your labels can be generated through Royal Mail only.

Thank you,

Marco

So Marco tell us how much longer we can opt out of this absolute mess called Simple (which isn't) delivery. A day, a week, forever?

This whole simple delivery - is not 'Simple'  i don't have a s mart phone, i do not have self adhesive mailing labels, don't expect ebay will provide these.  I use a drop and go service with our mobile post van  or I buy postage on line with royal mail and they collect direct from me.  my postage is £1.55 per item - large letter - Ebay are going to charge me £2.74 for a tracked service which I and my loyal customers don't want - sellers should have the right to opt out of this silly scheme - it is not easier for anyone

It is a joke, like you I get stuff picked up with a label which works for me and my work at home and means I don't have to mess about going to the post office which I don't have time for.

I'm so annoyed about these changes, it's making me want to stop selling on eBay altogether.

There's No opt out as of 15th April.

I'm looking forward to evri paying me hundreds in compensation and my flawless feedback being decimated.

Ebay has always screwed it's private sellers. I'd love to have a conversation with ebay about it but they don't give a flying whizz at the moon.
