Royal Mail tried delivery twice no answer

Hi,

I sold a jacket on Saturday evening and posted it on Monday morning via RMSD. I messaged the seller to say it was on its way but I got no response. I've tracked the parcel and RM attempted deliver on Tuesday and Wednesday but got no answer. Im just wondering what happens if RM can't deliver the parcel and the seller doesn't collect it? Would it be returned to me and would I have to refund the seller?

Thanks.

Under Ebays MBG rules an attempted delivery is classed as a successful delivery so if a buyer opens a non receipt claim they "should" lose any claim if Ebay can see that delivery was attempted.

If you put a returns address on it then it should come back to you in time.

Depending on how buyer paid they "may" be able to initiate a chargeback via their payment provider for non receipt.

Thanks.

I'm assuming it's just buyer's remorse but will see how it works out. Hopefully they're just busy and plan to pick up at the weekend.

It's just a bit of a PITA if they don't want it and I've got to refund.

Thanks 👍
