I sold something recently, and the buyer had to pay a surplus on the package, even though I printed and paid for the label through Ebay.
Now I've bought something through Ebay, and the same thing has happened. I have to pay a surplus on the postage.
So Ebay has Royal Mail Tracked tariffs wrong. Beware. It might be safer to take the parcel to the post office and let them calculate the cost.

This is why I do not use eBay labels nor simple delivery and will not use it.
Maybe you should raise the discrepancy with customer service.

I tried, but I just got the robot response.

Perhaps request a call back to speak to a human... 😉 AM is best...

Trying to sort out postage for a 'medium parcel' on eBay RM tracked 24 is £4.25 whereas tracked 48 is £5.15.
This is obviously incorrect. I was tempted to go for the cheaper option but elsewhere someone says he did this and the buyer got an underpayment notice. I've noticed this before so maybe it's been in error since the October price increase. If it were a simple matter to notify eBay I would do so but these companies dissuade contact - someone else said he tried to contact them and got through to a non-too-bright 'robot' so I'll save my time and energy.

Nothing wrong with the eBay prices
Tracked 48 is £5.15 for a MEDIUM Parcel up to 2kg
Tracked 24 is £4.25 for a SMALL Parcel up to 2kg
