Apparently it's now 30p per parcel, that came out of nowhere!

Oh dear. That will annoy all the posters that have been moaning about SD because they can only use the collection service. Maybe RM read the threads and thought they were missing a trick 😞

As its ebay demanding the extras for their fantasy ideas - maybe ebay will pay the 30p ?
Opps flying pig again

It's not just eBay though, it applies when you do a direct online Click & Drop label.

I’m a little confused here.
According to Google that’s been the case since July 2023.

Oh, OK so RM charging for a service they provide and yes, i wouldnt think RM charging £0.30 to pick up a parcel is excessive. Paying someone for actually doing a physical function is realistic, ebays Simple Postage ? Well thats another thing.
Its not something that would interest me as i try to keep my local Post Office going.

It has been free for a long time - well over a year, I think? Whenever I went to get a label for a RM Click and Drop parcel (not eBay) , it was always flagged as free collect from home. This morning the 30p charge shows, so they must have dropped the promotion.
Trouble is it has been free for so long, that like the old eBay 80% off FVF offers every fortnight, users begin to see it as the norm.

No it's not, it's a general thing. 2 years ago RM were going to charge 72p per item to collect but kept delaying it. Now they are charging, it was bound to happen sooner or later as no one else collects

Yes we have got used to it, being disabled i have no choice but to use it for parcels but with letters i will have to go back to walking to the postbox which i can cope with, no way can i get to drop off or post office
