Royal Mail collection with label - confused!

I've muddled myself up!  On Simple Delivery I clicked for the postie to bring a label and collect the parcel.  Thinking this actually booked and paid for the postage I didn't click the get your label/QR code link.  No tracking showed and I was still being asked to post the item, so I went back to the order page and clicked the get your label button guessing I hadn't actually paid for the label.  Its now saying to print a label or schedule a collection.  So my problem is, have I already booked the collection or not?

Did you get an e-mail from Royal Mail confirming the collection had been booked?

You have to click Book Collection  and choose the date &c it comes back to the "Get Prepaid Label" screen and you then have to click the big blue to download the label — even though you don't need to do anything with it — to complete the process.  When I do it the RM e-mail often arrives before that screen has even finished loading.

Hi, only email is from Ebay saying to print and drop off parcel so I'm guessing as I left the page before hitting the get label button it's cancelled out the collection.  Going to rebook the collection, worse case scenerio is I'm charged 2 x 30p.

Thank you for your help and clear instructions, I'll know the correct procedure next time.  Why Ebay can't give simple and clear instructions I don't know!
