Potential Fraudulent delivery

I was expecting a parcel today to be delivered through EVRI. I only received an email showing a picture of the parcel at my doorstep. No knock on the door, but when I went downstairs, I couldn't find it. The neighbourhood is quite secure. I suspect the deliverer stole it. How can such situations be addressed

It's a small parcel, anyone could have stolen it, there's no such thing nowadays,  unfortunately,  as a secure neighbourhood . Taking to an extreme example, the Queen once found someone sitting on her bed!  Bless her,  she stayed calmly talking to him until security reached her !

Items get stolen , we hear that here all the time,  was it a valuable item?
