I agree with other comments on the platform about Simple Delivery, it doesn't give you the option to factor in packing costs, so you have to add this to the purchase price. Also, the majority of my items weigh less than 100g, maximum 250g, so the Simple Delivery postage makes the buyer pay an extra £1.15 more than I was charging initially. Everything seems to be geared towards making it more difficult for private sellers. I understand it is easier with tracked postage for everyone, but it appears to come at a cost. They need to introduce a smaller weight limit. I am guessing it is because eBay get the funds acting as a postal third party business, as it shows a VAT charge of 45p in the breakdown cost to eBay.
Going to have to check all my postage costs carefully tomorrow when the automatic change to Simple Delivery comes in judging by what others have said.
