Package Label refund

A customer placed an order I purchased the shipping label then he cancelled. I approved the refund but I can’t work out how do I get a refund for my label, any help would be great

Package Label refund

A refund is sent to whoever paid for the SD label:

 

  • If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days
 
  • If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.

Package Label refund

   If you are referring to a simple delivery label, for which payment is taken immediately when your item is sold, then usually you do not have to do anything when an order is cancelled. In my case I paid for the label and when a buyer requested a cancellation and I accepted, I was refunded the postage (automatically) 2-3 days later. This has been the situation with previous cancellations too. You just have to monitor your 'payments', there is no notification of any kind.
