Re: Evri

EVERYBODY should boycott all those sellers that use Evri. If it doesn't say who they use, then ask. If they say Evri, then buy elsewhere. If they say Royal Mail and it comes via Evri, then automatically leave a negative feedback and all sellers (yes, I am a seller) will eventually learn.

Re: Evri

Nope. Our local Evri courier is fantastic.

Appreciate that’s very much I’m alright Jack but given everything I’ve sent with Evri on Vinted and eBay has arrived and all my Evri deliveries to me have arrived, I have no reason to not use them.

Re: Evri

Indeed, they are hopeless

We are still waiting for something small ordered on the 9th Jan and still no sign of it. Said to be out for delivery on the 16th and now just says delayed

But have sent items out myself on Saturday and items still not delivered or even out for delivery yet and that was royal mail 48hr tracked

Re: Evri

I've had so many bad experiences with Evri:

1) Sent a golf club that was worth £300 and it was clearly stolen.  I tried constantly to contact Evri and after about the 10th time they told me to contact eBay instead.  By then our was past the period that I couldn't claim through eBay so lost £300 to an Evri thief.  Why don't eBay make it clear that you should claim through them?

2) Items consistently get delayed.  Sometimes showing up months after.

3) The Evri scanner at my local post office keeps breaking so I go to post something and then can't.  That never happens with the Royal Mail or Amazon scanners at the post office.

4) The new simple delivery package sizes are configured for Royal Mail and don't map to the Evri limits.  So for large items like golf clubs that are within the Evri limit, you can't choose Evri as an option when printing a label.  eBay's fault and not Evri.

Re: Evri

We like Evri here, we've had more trouble with DPD. I ordered an afternoon tea to be delivered to my son and even though he was in and sat waiting they didn't knock, but left it outside in the brown bin that was full of bottles and tins. This was actual food! Evri have never done anything like that I'm glad to say.

Re: Evri

I already refuse any purchase if they use Evri, since 2022 when I had to sue them for theft, the only time I sent something valuable. I already know that if it say Evri, I will never receive the item, or if it makes it, it will be broken, so I can just give the money to a charity, at least it is useful, I lost some very good deal due to this, but then checking feedback and stuff I am grateful I didn't use them. Never trust someone not paid to do their job, they have no consequencies, they are freelancer, the Company wash hands, and they get very horrible pay, rights and rounds, the system is broke as well, I don't want to support a slavery Company as well.

As others have said, personally, I don't have an issue with Evri.

Tracking is usually updated accurately and the courier comes to the door with the parcel.

Also, sometimes there is no option.

Outside of Ebay, where individual sellers choose Evri because of the low cost, some major sellers only use Evri.

So, when I bought a new swimming costume from a major retailer this week, it was accept Evri or find another seller.

There were no issues with the delivery.

Re: Evri

They choose them because it is cheap, major retailler look into saving money because the Evri stuff is self employed. It is even cheaper for them to send you 200 replacements when they lost or steal parcels. Private seller use them like me, until they have to sue them.

Oh please tell us,  have you sued them?  Was it successful?  Or do you know of someone who has ?

Never heard of anyone suing Evri.  Would love to know of the result !

Re: Evri

Very strange because on Consumer's right forum, it is full of cases, expecially where the item "lost" was a Xbox One X or a PS5, or very high value items, and yes I did it in 18/03/2022, just while they did change their name and few months later their first investigations made by Citizen Adivise, but i didn't see that at time, or I would have switched to others sooner. I still have all the screenshot, info, tracking, letter of complain made by Which, and all my correspondance, sent and received I had with them and their CEO, plus you will find tons of my post back in those days on almost all the Evri complaining FB groups, where some contacts where put public by people, God bless them, and me to users trying to reach them unsuccessfully. So yeah I can even post those documents and dates publicly should you have some doubt about it, and your sarcastic tone, by the way after closing the resolution talkings with them unsuccessfully and when they got me notifying them about my legal letter and document to start the Court Claim, they were so scared, they even refunded me an additional item seller put in the box for me, and I still have their conversations mails where they even asked me if I was happy of the full refund and additional value of that item, because I wanted to go to Court to be honest, and I would get even more, and they knew it, they would lose it, so they just had to refund me in full and at this point I had to accept the refund, it is still on my bank, if you want to see it, and at this point my case was weak if I would have continued, since they agreed only at starting the Trial process to fully refund me and more, that's the only way they got away with, since I lost one month studying British Law for the case, I am Italian, by the way, and to organize all the legal documents for this, I was told my case was very strong and I wanted a refund for the time loss, the rude attitude (they even shut the phone call while I was politely explain the matter the first days, yes they still had a public phone number for customer service back in the days, and before the bot, and one time I even heard them laughting at me during the phone call, I wouldn't let them get away with those).

My item was not prohibited in their back then list (even now to be fair, because the *bleep* added the item later my case obviousely, but they fail to put the proper material it was made of ahahahahah) and I paid extra insurance for it. I have tons of their mail denying me the refund until I didn't start the Court Order.

Also: I do understand it is in Ebay interest to defend their partnership with Evri and so all of you people with it, but if they are terrible and there is multiple evidence of it, but you like to play dumb, please go ahead, and keep on shooting on the Red Cross, like they say in Italy.
