I posted a parcel out on the 22nd April the label was ccreated on the 19th but due to Easter I wasn't able to send until, the 22nd. However, since then the tracking has not updated from "dispatched" on Ebay and Evri says "We are expecting it" and it still has not updated or been delivered. I have sent this out with some other parcels on the 22nd but I have no idea what is going on.
What is going on here? Has anyone else had this issue?

No; but as no-one else has replied - did you hand it in a shop or ...? Do you have a receipt?

How was the item dispatched? Eg did you take it to a post office or parcel drop shop?
If Evri say they are expecting it, they haven't received it yet.
A scenario - if you took it to a post office for example, it could have been put in the wrong mail bag - eg put in a royal mail bag instead of the Evri bag, whilst rare I have known it to happen on the very odd occasion, royal mail then treat the item as an underpaid postage item and that could lead to a 10 or so day delay in delivery.

Unfortunately I have lost the receipt. but the PO said that they have the tracking number and had scanned it in so they confirmed that the PO had it.

Ahh right okay thanks for the info. I handed tit into the PO and they said that they had produced a tracking number for it meaning that they confirmed that they had scanned it in

Hello, yes, I have also experienced this recently when all tracking starts and ends with the shop/post office where Evri collects from. I re-visited the shop to make sure it had not been put in the customer collection shelves which it had not, they were adamant it had been put in the Evri blue collection sack but Evri say not been handed over to them. Basically the fault lies with the shop as it has obviously been put in a Royal Mail sack by mistake or been stolen! The buyer has opened an item not received case, I used e bays new simple delivery label so hopefully I should get compensated? Still waiting outcome.
As this appears to be a quite common occurrence Evri need to reprimand these collection points as I now will no longer use this shop.

Hi, I’ve had the same issue about a fortnight ago.
i usually do my own labels and use a locker and have never had issue, but have used eBay’s prepaid QR now that they automatically add to all listings.
The tracking still shows as we’re expecting it, but I’ve already dropped it off with the shop.
i have no receipt as they asked me for my email to send an e receipt.
the shop at blaming evri system and Evri just aren’t getting back to me.
what can I do?

YOu wont have a receipt per se, its an ebay label, and thats where the responsibility lies with ebay to resolve. Evri wont get back to you as you didn't purchase the label from them, ebay did.
