Ebay tracking

Hi,

I posted an item to a buyer yesterday but on Ebay tracking this is not showing? It just says post by 7th of November.  On the RM website you can see it was sent on the 5th. Will this hold up the payment ? Also what happens if Ebay doesn't update the tracking and it looks like I have not sent it by the 7th? I'm very new to this, only sold one other item before.

If you bought postage via ebay the tracking/dispatch should be added automatically.    If you bought your own postage you have to add tracking and mark as dispatched manually via the dropdown menu arrow alongside the item on your orders page.    Check that it has been done.

I bought it via Ebay and usually it's automatically added. I can see the tracking number, it's just when I click on it, it is saying send by the 7th. I've tried contacting ebay but I can't get past the automated service.
