As if "Simple postage" wasn't enough to try and derail sellers...
As from today, they seem to be adding buyer protection or some other UNANNOUNCED fee onto custom postage!
I put in "3.70" Tracked 48 parcel. Ebay lists postage on the item as "4.42"
I put in "2.70 "Tracked letter. Ebay lists postage on the item as "3.24"
I'm getting sick of this. There is no clear direction and "Customer services" don't know whats going on either.

Hi zepromz, thanks for your post.
Do you have an item number, so I can take a look for you to see what's happening there?
Thank you,
Marco

£2.70 to £3.24 is the addition of 20%
£3.70 to £4.42 is just under 20%
I don't remember exactly but I think there was another post on here where someone experienced the same - I think they concluded they were being charged VAT on the postage. I don't remember the outcome - and it's too late for me to go look for it!

It took several attempts but I have finally got them showing the right postage now, just had to use brute force and keep hammering the form again and again until it showed the right figure. Another slipup on ebays IT side, I have lost count of the little problems that have been happening the last 3 months or so. They are still denying there is an issue with the Automation as well...
