Just had the misfortune of selling an item, then the fun started, i have always used Royal Mail Tracked 48 and signed for, now there is NO option to get the item signed for by the buyer, therefore if the item goes missing or the buyer says he;s not received the item (which has happened many times) i have no comeback as saying the seller received the item,
Ebay absolutely makes me sick, i cannot abide the service they try to give...........it's a case of Big Brother do as i say....or leave.....any help to get round this problem would be most appreciated because the guy on the phone just now didn't have a clue!!.........

Anyone can actually sign for an item , eBay ask for tracking to show delivery , then payouts are released 2 days after that delivery date. Otherwise, no tracking, it's a 14 day wait.
Sometimes eBay's tracking is slow to update if you find this, contact Customer Services provide the tracking which has shown delivery on the courier's / RM's website, and they'll update it for you to release your payout sooner.
If you need to in the future, this is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays
9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.
Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.
I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
