I had to send an item to an alternate address as an error with the postage label with the one recorded for the buyer. So, the item also had to go by Royal Mail. The tracking confirmed delivery on 1.5.25. It does not indicate this on eBay site and as a result I have not been paid. How do I rectify this?

Contact ebay and ask them to change the tracking number. You can use callback on here:

When you sent the item to a different address, was it different to the one provided by the buyer through eBay? If so, I'm afraid that we are unable to cover transaction that were not sent to the address provided through eBay. In that case, your funds will be released in 14 days in your buyer file no cases for the transaction in question.
