Combined postage

I am getting really sick and tired of people wining multiple items then not paying for hours after and then you contact them and all of a sudden they respond with can you combine postage! I even write it on my notes tell them to discuss it with me before hand. I get excuses like I feel asleep, how did I know I would win all the items ? I am getting sick of it I am happy to combine postage don’t get me wrong if you discuss it with me not just go cold and expect it! Just rude. EBay says it’s up to buyers discretion! Does anyone have the same issues? I feel eBay should state this on all sales the buyer may well refuse you or something like that if not discussed fairly and openly!

Buyers have 4 days to pay for items won at auction... scroll down to "Timelines for paying"

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/paying-items/paying-items?id=4009#:~:text=remove%20these%20author...

If your buyer does not pay within the appropriate period then you, the seller, may cancel the transaction citing "failure to pay" and the buyer receives a deficit or strike on their account.

If you require instant payment then you must adjust your settings to require any bidders to provide their payment details beforehand, meaning that the winner will automatically pay at the end of the auction.

You may likewise tailor your preferred option for combined postage to your needs.

Re: Combined postage

I didn't know combined postage was even possible these days, occasionally I get a postage partial refund after I've paid but checkout gives me no way to secure the items unless I just pay.

I think it's funny sellers moaning about people not paying fast when this past 18 months or so I've been plagued with sellers who think a week to post is their divine right.

Re: Combined postage

I've always combined postage automatically for the same type of postage on my Private and Business Accounts & never had any problems. The Buyers are able to see what my combine postage will cost them.

Re: Combined postage

As long as the buyer hasn't paid for any of the items,  you can send them a revised invoice with a combined postage this way:

Go right of the item sold to More Actions, and select Send payment Details,  all item will appear on the one invoice.  Amend the postage there to that required,  but do not click on reset.  Check it is correct,  and send.

If you are on the Seller Hub,  you click on the item in Orders >>  Awaiting Payment,  then top left you will see send Invoice,  follow the above instructions.

You'll probably need a PC / laptop and not the app to manage this.  Chrome seems to work well with eBay.
