Hi, I am waiting for two items ordered for click and collect at a nearby Argos. I've not received a code so as things stand I cannot collect either. I did speak to eBay yesterday and was advised to check if the sellers can provide tracking numbers (I'm waiting for a response from both) but I'm just looking for advice on what will happen if these items are missing? It feels a bit coincidental that two items ordered from different sellers a few days apart but to the same store aren't appearing as ready for collection, but I've never had an issue with this in the past. Any advice would be gratefully received, thanks.

Depends sometimes who you speak to at Customer Services as to the answer you receive.
If the code is not with your emails or order details in your Purchase History contact CS again but do so very first thing in the morning when the lines first open at 8 a.m. on weekdays as there's more chance of Dublin answering. Weekends it 9 a.m. only speak to them. They should be able to provide this code for you.
This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.
9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open, as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Thank you for your reply, I've actually spoken to a lady from eBay again this afternoon and she has opened cases for both of them. No collection codes are visible on their system as of yet. The lady did reassure me though that I would only have a problem here if I received an email with the codes and didn't subsequently collect, which is a relief.

Just remember those cases opened for item not received, if you are not refunded within 3 days on day 4 you much escalate the case and eBay step in and force the refund.
If the seller does add valid tracking numbers showing delivery to that Click & Collect centre, then the case will close in their favour, and there's no refund.

Hi, tracking has been added and it is showing as delivered to Argos two days ago, however I have yet to receive a collection code. I can phone eBay again tomorrow and / or go to the store, however I would imagine without the code, it'll be a waste of time. Thanks again for your replies.

Just on this - I was able to collect both items from Argos today by showing the ecp code at the desk, which then generated an FM code which could be scanned. The reason I didn't receive notification was because the ecp was not written on either box, therefore all Argos had was my name.
Pleased and relieved to have resolved this. Maybe something that needs to be highlighted for any seller offering click and collect is to ensure that the ecp is clearly marked?

You were lucky that they accepted the parcels without the ecp numbers. Not long ago they would have been rejected.
