Buyer paid postage, not in payout

I just sold a pair of boots for £33.89

boots were £30 and the postage was £3.39 - buyer paid. 

the payout has come through at £29.12 but I can't find a postage label for Royal Mail. When I click onto the link, eBay is asking me to pay £3.39 to print the postage label when the buyer has already paid. Am I missing something? I am about to cancel the sale, as I've already sold below my asking and to have to spend another £3.39 is not viable for me. Please can someone help as I can't get any help from Ebay

It wasn't the postage deducted,  it was eBay's seller fees dedicted,  for the item sold.

When your item sells,  eBay deduct their seller fees which are approximately 13.25% plus 30p per transaction,  immediately.

This sum may be very similar to the postage you have charged,  so it looks like you were not paid for postage,  be assured you were.

eBay charge you fees on the £33.89 you received **before** they send it to you

You then pay for the postage yourself to send the item out of the remaining money that you received

There are no more selling fees to pay, they have already been taken from the money you received from the buyer

You cannot cancel the sale, you must send the item now, so go and buy that postage label.

I see you have cancelled the sale and relisted the boots

Your original buyer can now leave you negative feedback

When the boots sell a second time, you will receive exactly the same amount of money from eBay

The reason you got less than you were expecting was that eBay had already taken their fees

They will do the same when these boots sell and you will receive £29.12 again.

Everytime you cancel you get a black mark on your account, if you keep cancelling sales you will lose your account and be prevented from selling on eBay permanently. 

The SELLER pays for postage out of the money they receive from eBay. eBay do not send you a "postage label", you have to PAY for it from the money you receive for the boots!

I think what has confused me, is that I sold a dress a month ago for £22 and eBay paid me the full amount including the postage that was attached. I was then able to use the postage fee for the Evri drop off service, so when I listed the boots and accepted the offer, I expected it to be the same scenario as the dress but it wasn't.

i don't want negative reviews so may end up taking it down from eBay.

Dresses sold during a fee promotion did not have fees deducted as it was a promotion  "sell clothes for free"

The offer does not include boots

You pay full fees on boots - it was only clothes that were listed for free

The dress if you a private seller has no fees the boots do.
