Yes you are right in what you say I can not trust evri to much water has
gone under the bridge.
And because I sell my antique dolls eBay is opting out of breakables only
lost pay outs
That’s fine no courier will cover breakages

I pack make my boxes in such a manner they are safe in there boxes and this
is the problem I also give free post and next day delivery .so they are
only in the system for a small amount of time
I have lost all that these are my treasured items that eBay has taken
from me .I should be allowed to choose my courier not put my items in the
devil it’s self courier .
EBay has given us nothing they are raking it in with cheap post but what do
we get
Donkey service slow delivery times
And blaming the buyers who they said would pick there label so buyers get a
bad name
Well I can tell you this it’s eBay
And keeping are buyer details until you have down loaded there label is
completely out of order .so what I am saying if you are happy with SD Evri
that’s fine but we who do not should have that choice

So the first delivery attempt says incorrectly addressed - return to sender, but they seem to of quickly sorted that out as they attempted delivery on Monday too, I think the postman made off with it and selected the wrong option, jusst kept the label handy to scan a couple of times, how can they possibly loose an item they apparenty attempted twice ?, the buyer then went to his local sorting centre on Tuesday and Wednesday to collect it instead and they stated the driver hadnt been back with the parcel yet, BIG RED FLAG !!!!

he put a claim in with ebay eventually and got his money back and ebay ignored me, lost the goods and the money, so use SD at your own risk, sellers are not protected in anyway despite what ebay tell you, unless you buy postage yourself and claim through the courier company you used yourself if something goes wrong thats the only way you're getting your money back.

Im selling a graphics card at the moment too, £300, it actually sold the other day, but good old ebay now hide the buyers address from you unless you buy a postage label, then you can see it on the postage label, so I messaged the seller and asked for his address and contact details, I noticed he had zero feedback and signed up July 2025, so he basically signed up to buy my card is the way it looks, I know we all have to start somewhere, but im not an idiot, I cancelled the order and blocked him, ive added to the listing, "do not waste yours or my time, if you are a new account and have zero feedback the order will be cancelled" not about to risk getting ripped off again.

So then a guy was messaging me 2 nights ago to buy the same card, but wanted to come around to collect it, he made a massive thing about me requesting bank transfer or cash on collection, wanted to know why I wouldnt accept ebay payments, why should I wait 48 hours for my money and give him the chance to claim it back, never knowing any of his details (address etc) and him walk away same day with a nearly new GPU, told him if he didnt like it that way, he can buy it through ebay and have it delivered, he wouldnt stop going on about it so sorry but I told him to £^&% off, because that didnt sound suspicious at all either did it.......again, im not an idiot.

If you like Let me do a photo by photo listing for you to show you what you need to click to get custom postage and get it to remain like that

I may be on a different browser than you (safari) or I can use the app version but all the options should be the same

so we can find out where you’re getting stuck

wont be till a bit later though

Ok this is what my screen looks like when I do custom and how it works for me

When you put in the pricing (800 and then later 100 for example ) you have to click enter for it to register

this one defaulted to dolls and bears but you can change category if you like

I may have mixed up the order of some screens but hopefully will show you where to click and what happens when you do and hope haven’t confused you even more

incorrect address, was this printed using the SD?

the buyer should open a item not received case.

it may be the case you too will get your money back, request call back from ebay.

Whatever system you use the principles are the same

custom postage will appear when you put in a factor that triggers it ie something that SD doesn’t cover ie items over £750

im not a techy but I refuse to believe that using a different browser changes ebays core postage programming /options

If you select parcel size and parcel weight that  SD doesn’t handle it will work

They cannot change a large parcel into something smaller if you’ve clicked the right buttons and it’s set

up to you to figure it out

Or up to eBay to restore the missing custom postage unless they’ve banned large parcels

and don’t know what you mean by SD not available

it shoudnt be available here 🤷🏼‍♀️ but never mind

😐🙄🙄🙄

Hi yes I usually use 2nd class large letter at 1.55, but that option isn’t available as far as I can see. But someone has said it’s available in certain categories so I will try that. thank you

So last night, peed off as I was I decided to give eBay a call, after being passed from pillar to post with 3 different language speaking women, I eventually got through to a English speaking lady in the appeals dept who stated whoever processed the refund for the buyer did it incorrectly and shouldn't of taken the money off me, she instantly gave me all my money back for the router I sold which I posted with simple delivery and apologised, so a plus result.

Still won't be using it again now I know the work around.
