Avoiding Simple Delivery

After nearly 20 yrs on eBay choosing my own couriers get the best and
quickest delivery for my buyers Why O Why don’t they leave are postage
alone let us have back are chosen carriers let us choose the best postage
not donkey post evri for are buyers .there are brilliant sellers but they
have let down there buyers by using the worse courier walking. The postage
buyers pay is not the exact cost .they should be refunded if it costs less
. I have moaned spoken even got the hump speaking to eBay and getting some
that do not know all the answers of questions given.

Others like me who listed and had great fun doing so can not be bothered to
list much anymore I am one of them and I have loads just sitting here sad
day such a shame eBay has lost there way

My issue is with the choices firstly
The actual drop down menu for Evri is more comprehensive and would be a great step forward if adapted
The second is the large letter price it’s okay for 1kg but not for a item that cost £5 and weighs 50 grams second class is less than a £1
So I don’t sell items under £10 and weighs less than 500 grams also items that are more than 55 cm long this has resulted in £800 loss sales to EBay after 25 years of using EBay
While we having a dig I see now all listing a full of Chinese items so you cannot find a local delivery it also makes it difficult for customers to find your product.

Avoiding Simple Delivery

I sell dolls spares parts and dresses that weigh next to nothing and I know
if I went to the post office it would be very much cheaper but with no
access to buyers details and only known once label is downloaded I have no
choice .eBay should add this issue to there post and down to the correct
post for items. I am billed the same as a pair of trainers when I send. a
Wig how annoying is that .with the cost of a few bob I would be happy to
free post but not at nearly £3

You do not have to use their label, once you have clicked on down load, do not download, but just copy the address and use your own method of posting.  You will be charged postage, but you can request a refund within 14 days, and it takes 14 days to get the refund.  Simply terms and conditions allow you to do this.  the link for the refund is https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller.

Tip when you create your listing it does not really matter what weight you put in, I always put in large letter so that I am charged the cheapest amount by Ebay, which as I say i then request a refund for.  You must of course pay the postage in the listing, it does not work if you charge your buyer postage.

This is all aggravating of course, and then your orders do not show that they have arrived, because you cannot change the tracking number from ebays, but I always tell the buyer what the correct tracking number is, so you have to keep an eye on it.  Yes it all takes time, but if you want to post your way, this is a way around it.
