Anyone else experienced this random eBay bug:

"We're having trouble verifying your bank details"

 

All I did was switch to my business bank account, which obviously got verified. Then I withdrew £850 from my available balance, and the next day I get hit with this error and they are requesting I add a new bank account.


I've been in touch with people on facebook groups that are also experiencing this "bug" I would call it...

 

Anyone else on here experiencing it?

We're having trouble confirming your bank details

You need to contact Customer Services and ask what verification they need exactly,  they may need to verify your new account further,  by sending micro deposits into it,  for you to receive and confirm back. 

 

Contact CS first thing on weekday morning at 8 a.m. when the lines open for ' live agents'  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

 

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays


9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.


Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.


I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

I've contacted them already and they told me that the direct debit has failed. 
I also contacted my bank's CS and they've told me it was cancelled from eBay's end and that there is nothing wrong with my bank account, everything is fully functional and nothing is being blocked or cancelled on our bank's end....


It seems to me they are facing a bug of some sort.

Have you ha micro deposits sent to that bank account?  If not,  ask CS to do this if you contact them now,  there's more chance of Dublin answering and you can explain the difficulties happening around verifying your account.

Same problem here. 

We're having trouble confirming your bank details

Already re-added the bank account 3 times, each time I got their 0.01 deposit but for some reason they won't take it back out and force me to re-add the bank account.

Now after 3 times re-adding it, they no longer accept it?!?!?!

 

Whoever does their code and web programming needs to get sacked.
