Using eBay balance for postage costs/seller's costs (rather than bank account) How?

Question as in title. I cannot find if either:

(a) I am NOT allowed to use my eBay balance for postage costs when selling, or

(b) I just can't find where to specify this on my eBay account information.

Any help please?

Hi mooblie, thanks for your post.

Depending on which carrier you choose, the cost of your labels can be paid from your available funds, PayPal or your on-file payment method.

• Royal Mail postage label purchases can be paid with PayPal and can now also be paid using any available funds on your eBay account
• For Packlink carriers EVRi, Yodel, UPS, InPost and DPD you can purchase labels using any available funds on your eBay account
• If you choose to pay using available funds and don’t have sufficient balance to cover the transaction, label purchases will be paid from your preferred on-file payment method
• All Parcelforce postage label purchases will be paid with PayPal
