Unknown ebay item appeared on my credit card bill

Hi

My credit card bill has come in with details of an ebay purchase with a order number that i don't recognise.

I've searched my purchase history and i didn't buy anything with that date and I have searched on the order number and nothing comes up.

How do I get in touch with Ebay to identify what the order was for from just the order number

Any help appreciated.

Hi cardissa1, thanks for your post.

Is it possible that the order was placed with your card, but using a different eBay account? You could still use your card to pay with a guest account, or a family member's account or even a friends? I'd check that, and if you cannot find anything, you can let me know the item number of the order in question, and I can double check. However, if it wasn't placed from this account, I won't be able to check.
