Slow payment 'Processing' period

Hello.

Ever since the new wallet system has been introduced I have noticed that payments sit on "processing" for 24 hours before becoming available to withdraw.

Is this happening for everyone? it seems a lot slower than it used to be where I would be paid out much faster, usually funds were deposited to my bank account within 24 hours of a sale but now the minimum seems to be more than 24 hours thanks to this slow 'processing' stage before I can even initiate a withdrawal.

Is this just how it will be from now on?

Yes they're law unto themselves.
Some years ago I received a warning from them along the lines of "you have breached the rules of Ebay, if you do it again we'll ban you".
I asked them what had happened and they wouldn't say, so I had no idea of what it was I was supposed to have done. I tried arguing the point but they were adamant, it was a secret.
I complained many times that this was both unfair and stupid as I might do whatever it was again without knowing it. No they were still not telling me what it was.
Eventually after many escalations they told me it was someone else who had transgressed, not me. I saw that as quite an eye-opener.

I'm looking at alternative market places.

That's exactly how it will be from now on.

Back when eBay used Paypal, I'd have the money in my bank within 5 minutes of customer payment.  It's now day 5 since the customer paid me.

Yes it's very annoying as I used to get paid no longer than 10 o'clock and now I can't say when I'm getting paid today 23/07/35

It's obviously in eBay's interest to hang on to our money. But eBay email us every 5 minutes. The send an email if the wind changes direction. The least they could do is message us when funds become available. It beats us having to check every couple of hours.
