Selling Policy

Disgusted in eBay’s latest policy on selling and getting paid “Since you posted your order with Simple Delivery, your funds will be available 8 calendar days from the order date or 2 calendar days after we receive delivery confirmation, whichever comes first”.

Buyer protection fee charge is a rip off and does not give transparency to sellers or buyers and pushes up prices.

Forced to use “Simple Delivery” when selling which does not cover packaging costs.

Proof of postage but still cannot access my funds as per policy.

ebay making money on my funds whilst held by them.

why does it take 2 days post delivery confirmation to get funds.

After 18 years with eBay I’m now moving to an alternative market place due to this policy.  EBay your offer is *bleep*!

Their payment terms are changing early next month:

From 6 August, we’re also making it easier and faster for our more experienced sellers to receive their funds. This means you can get your funds within 24 hours of the buyer paying. To qualify for faster payment, all you’ll need to do is:

  • Complete at least 10 sales with a total of £150 or more within the last 5 years
  • Maintain 2 or fewer cases in the last 12 months
