Permanently suspended - funds on hold

My account has been suspended, with all products delivered, yet all of my funds are on hold (around £500)

I spoke to eBay, and I was told I'd have to wait '170 days or more' to receive my funds. Has anyone else experienced this? Did you get your funds eventually? And does anyone have any advice on how to tackle this situation?

Thank you in advance

Even small claims cost money , where he will not get his application fee back … it can take up to 14 months to get your money back

Re: Permanently suspended - funds on hold

I asked here some time ago how long it would take until I could get my
money back from eBay after my account was restricted. At that time, I was
told it could even take up to 14 months.

For reference, here’s what eBay support explained to me:
The system checks the account every 7 days once certain conditions are met:

-

*60 days after the restriction date*
-

*30 days after the last claim closure date*
-

*30 days after the last estimated or actual delivery date of the last
transaction*

In my case, the latest date applied, which was *August 9, 2025*.

Finally, after almost *4 months*, today (August 19) I received my payout.
The funds were on hold since May. Please note that eBay also deducted a fee
of approximately *€66* from the released amount of *€7,190*.

Re: Permanently suspended - funds on hold

As you are registered in Pakistan you need to make any enquiries via eBay global site https://community.ebay.com/ here on UK site we cannot assist with overseas accounts.

Re: Permanently suspended - funds on hold

Hi few weeks ago I had recieved a mc11 and had to comply with few request e.g invoice, id and delivery confirmation (even though ebay tracking was showing items delivered)

I complied with ebay request until finally they wanted confirmation of few items delivered and they would derestrict my account.

After a while they restricted my selling privileges. Then when I finally showed all items delivered no disputes no returns they decided to permanently restrict my selling privileges straight after i emailed them apparently due to poor seller behaviour.

As it stands I have just under £17k in my payouts ready to be paid but because of restriction can't be paid.

They emailed me they saying my account is indefinitely restricted and they will conduct a thorough review which will take up to 190 days. I can however benefit ebay by buying items from them as I have a business account bit xamt take my £17k out.

I just don't know what to do as this is a major dent in a small business like ours.

Please advice those who know.
Much appreciated.

Re: Permanently suspended - funds on hold

If you're not permanently restricted you shouldn't have a problem.
That also tells me that they're holding your funds to cover themselves
(plus they make interest on funds although they sepwear they don't)
Ebay have completely lost the trust and interest of its sellers.
Pure trash the whole operation.
Good luck.
They stole over £1000 from myself over 2 years ago, when I needed it to put
food on the table for me and my 3 children. Sold our belongings because we
were desperate after convid.
PURE TRASH!

Re: Permanently suspended - funds on hold

Obviously they haven't completely lost your trust or interest as you have 46 current listings.

Seems rather hypocritical to continue to sell for free using a business you consider to be 'trash'.

For that amount I recommend you seek proper legal advice.
