Payout received

This is odd , anyone else received an automatic payout today?     for I received one for an item I sold a few days ago.

I received a payout as per the ' old system' of an auto payout on Tuesdays.  I did not manually withdraw it.

However,  I was very grateful as the amount was less than item sold for, and on checking a ' Campaign Promotion' I had added to one item  and I Had Removed it,   was still being charged,  check those if you select that promotion,  it gobbles up your payouts at the speed of knots!

Could it be the 'January sweep'?  Seems a bit pointless this early in to the new system, but this is ebay!

Thought that applied only to payouts not withdrawn  so then  it's auto sent on a quarterly basis.

Mine was for an item sold a few days ago.

Think we're in for a few more....  where has my eBay Balance gone today !

You are right, suppose it was being on a Tuesday that foxed me.

Though I am very grateful as an expensive Promotion I had once selected and definitely removed when I saw how much it costs,  still carried on,  it was not removed!

Won't get this money until about Thursday 48 hours after my sold item get's delivered via RM Special Delivery...  Silly eBay changes  ARE NOT FOR THE BETTER !  😞  😞  😞  😞  😞

The information for payouts  on this thread which started in January,  does not apply to the new payment system now,  under Buyer Protection rules.

However, this may help understanding some of the new terms for payouts:

Here's an explanation of each payout status:

•          Created: A Payout ID has been created and the payout process has started
•          In progress: The payout has been initiated by eBay and is in the process of being sent to your bank
•          Funds sent: Your payout is successful. eBay has sent your payout, it could take 0-4 business days for your bank to process the funds to your bank account
•          Returned: The payout has been initiated by eBay, but an issue has occurred with your bank or eBay
•          Blocked: Your payout method could be invalid, or may have been blocked by eBay
•          Cancelled: Your payout was unsuccessful, and the balance has been added back to your Available funds
