Payment details not accepted

I've just opened a new bank account and try to add it to EBay so I can get paid for items I've sold. I keep getting this "We're unable to support this bank. Please try again with a different bank" It's a UK bank and a well known one. Anyone have any ideas?

It would be helpful if you told us which bank!!!

Not sure why naming the bank make any difference, but anyhow It's  Virgin Money(run by Clydesdale)

I am afraid that this bank wouldn't be supported, so you would need to use a different bank if possible.

Why on earth would this mainstream bank not be supported?

Its an e-bank, not a real bank

You need to use a real bank account not an e-banking account to use eBay 

eg open an account with Clydesdale bank
