Payment changes

I sold an item recently for a small amount sent it second class not knowing about this payment charge farce. . As it wasn’t a tracked service it became a problem.  Then the buyer left feedback - all good it says.  Obviously this indicates they’d received it and all was good! EBay said no that wasn’t proof!! I have  given hell to eBay, the poor agent really got both barrels from me.  I’ve been with eBay for nineteen years and will only buy in future, no more selling for me, this is the final straw. The agent called back and agreed they could release the funds, but it doesn’t make a difference.  I’ve lost faith in the platform

now.  Greedy eBay are making a fortune from holding onto funds which are OURS.  They will lose out in the end. They’ve lost my business.

From the end of Feb (next week?) ebay have said that payments for items £10 or less and sent untracked will be released two days after feedback has been left.

Thanks. Won’t make a difference though. As you probably know, a lot of buyers don’t bother leaving feedback so it’ll still be an issue. EBay have made things too difficult for honest sellers.

Well I'm afraid that has never happened!  It takes 2 weeks and my items are only £2-£3 each and never sell more than £5 at a time and I still don't get the money for  2 weeks!!

I'm currently trying out another platform - eBay is a waste of time and energy now!!

If they go back to paying the seller when its been paid for, I'll come back properly but not before.

I can't walk out of a shop with goods without paying, or if I do, I get done for stealing which is what eBay are doing.
