New eBay Ruling ?

I have been waiting for an item I ordered,and paid for, a week ago to be delivered and today received a message  stating " sorry for the delay but I was waiting till eBay told me that you had paid"  Is this a sign of things to come for customers ?  I do not hope so as there are many online retailers selling the items I use often

This is a user issue not an ebay issue.

Let me explain the seller (a user) is not abreast of the new rules, or has no clue how to use the site.

Either way tell them you have paid and they can see that detail on the the payment part of the order itself.

If they are unsure they can contact eBay  CS who will confirm this detail and to send ASAP.
