I have two reasonably expensive items that have been tracked & verified arrived at the Global Shipping Hub, in fact one is now almost with the buyer. These items were delivered to the hub Monday & Tuesday of this week so we are well passed the 24 hours Ebay states in its new policy.
I contacted chat twice this week and was told initially by a more senior agent that its actually 48 hours to which I pointed out to them it actually isn't to which the chat went silent and I had to reconnect to another agent who told me they would manually approve the funds within 24 hours that was Monday, still waiting.... I then rang on Tuesday and was told there is a problem with the system and it would be in the next 24/48 hours, no need to guess still not released.
Now all this is fine and I'm not desperate for the funds but understand some people actually could be. What I can't work out is, if there is a problem with the system how come some of my other items of lesser value's funds have been released without issue and on time, they were sent at the exact same time as the other two items that seem to be a problem ?
