I went to transfer cleared money and have a message saying auto payment is 7.10.2025

What Gives?

The first really big issue. I have transferred money that has cleared to my bank loads of times. Tonight I went to transfer £50.13 and it says I have to wait for an automated payment until 7/10/2025. I have some larger amounts about to clear and I don't wish to wait almost 2 weeks for an auto pay out.

I tried to talk to the AI chat bot. Its the most awful AI I ever use. To be fair , most are not good, but eBay 's is terrible. The chat bot could be renamed AS ( as in Ass) Always Stupid. I much more fitting title. Why can I not have my money. Like I have always had before.

There's all manner of small issues with the latest eBay version. simple delivery has made it more regimented and less pliable regard someone changing their mind and collecting. I'm refunding the money, but eBay has it.

You need to speak to a live agent for this,  and I recommend contacting Customer Services first thing,  8a.m. today and on weekdays and 9 a.m. on weekdays as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

As said I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Please note that this is not a new policy or a delay being introduced for payments going forward, automated payouts is for funds that have been placed for a while in the account.

When that happens, we will automatically send any funds within your account on the first Tuesday of every January, April, July, and October, what you are seeing right now is the one from October.

You can still withdraw them as normal. That message is just telling you that IF you don't manually withdraw before that date then they'll be automatically withdrawn then.

Thanks for your reply. I note others posted similar questions. 

I know about the Automatic payment , but I was complaining there was no longer a choice. I went to transfer my balance and there was no longer a link , only a message saying payment would be automatic 7-10-2025 . The implication was this was now the only option .

that was on my PC and despite looking everywhere the transfer blue box would not appear. Others were finding similar

the only option being to get a long term pay out. 7/10\2025’

later last night I went  on to my account on my phone and in my  Ebay App . The option to transfer was still working in the App, but not on my pc. There must be tech issue with browsers being used?
