How long does it take for money to show up on Paypal?

Sold an expensive item for $350 which is a bargain for the buyer, He bought it 36 hours ago in the weekend and I check Ebay and it says its paid and I should ship now, but I checke paypal and there is nothing and NO nothing is on hold either.
so what do I do now?

how do I downvote someone? unreal I had to go to the american community to ask a simple question that they apparently cant answer here.
as if there's a difference between UK and Dutch and American ebay payments its all the same process

In that case you know that sellers don't get paid into their PayPal account and if you got a message telling you that the money has been paid into your PayPal account then, unfortunately, you have been scammed.

Who do you wat to 'downvote'?

wrong I have not been scammed, I received a notification that item has been bought and checked my orders and yes its been bought.

No need to get arsey.

You are posting on the UK discussion boards.  It is very unlikely you would find anyone able to answer your question here because it is now several years since ebay allowed payments to be made into a UK seller's PayPal account - all UK transactions are processed within what is called Ebay Managed Payments (which is overseen/controlled by Adyen) and payouts to sellers in the UK are only made direct to the seller's bank account. 

On top of which ebay now use a system for UK private sellers where the money is held by ebay until two or more days after delivery is confirmed, so no private sellers will recieve any money at all until after their buyer has recieved their item.
